Our History as a Family Business
Our Founder John started learning the Business in Fleetwood from his Father In-Law George F. Stump. John's Brother In-Law Ernest Stump also learned the business but went into the car side of the business where as John went into the furniture part of upholstery. Every year around Christmas time he would donate a chair that he re-upholstered to the Jim Beam club to be raffled off. Once John left Fleetwood, PA he started his own business in Shoemakersville, PA at his house January 1971. John's Daughter Debra starting learning the business from a little girl on up. In 1995 she started helping John out more and sewing stuff for him. In 2008 when John wanted to give up on the business his daughter Deb asked her husband Eugene about buying the business and they did and the following year they Inc. After Deb and Eugene bought the business they decided to move the business to their own house in 2009 in Mohrsville, PA. In 2010 they were approached by the Reading Boat Works about making custom Boat Covers. Ever since then we cover more and more boats every year. We have a very diverse upholstery shop and always doing something different all the time. In 2012 Deb & Eugene Son Jeremy started learning the business which he would be the 4th generation in the upholstery industry. Business has grown over the years and continues to grow with everything we do.
